Precision Concrete Materials has been mixing concrete on the job site — not at a distant plant — for the Sacramento region since 2005.
Precision Concrete Materials began in 2005, when Chris Pisano and Matt Murphy chose mobile mixers over barrel trucks. Rather than mixing concrete at a plant and racing it to the customer, they bet on volumetric mixers that batch fresh concrete right on the job site.
The payoff is a better product: concrete that arrives fresh instead of aging in transit, and none of the excess mixed for a job that ends up as waste. The mixers can even shut off between pours — sparing the air from unnecessary emissions. Two decades later, that approach still holds.
